Prothonotary warbler, a breath of light in the swamps. Photo by Felipe Chaves.
By adding the beauty of a species, such as the Prothonotary warbler (Protonaria citrea), plus its natural environment and a photograph at the right time, inspiring compositions are obtained. Felipe Chaves collaborates with Pura Inspiration with a great photo and tells us where and how he got it.
STORY BEHIND THE SHOT
“The initial plan was to go to the Sarapiquí (Caribbean Slope) area in search of an Oropopo, or spectacled owl. While we were waiting next to the Hotel La Isla, the Warbler (Protonaria citrea) appeared next to a small lake. The bird perched and posed for a long time. The truth is that it gave me an excellent opportunity to photograph it.
